They call her Little June at the kennel I'm purchasing her from, but that will change lol. She's a miniature pug, Isn't she ADORABLE?? I'm waiting to hear back from the seller to see if she's still available .. *crosses fingers*

I guess I should give you all an update regarding my music. As some of you may know I am in my senior year in college and will be graduating in May 2011 YEEEAAAAHHHHH BIIITTTTCCCHHEESSS!!! ... i had to lol

So, my work load is crazy! I have a lot of group projects, amongst many other things, that require a lot of my time so I haven't been able to write or record as much. I am still doing shows, however, so I will definitely keep you guys posted on those.

Within the next year I plan to release my first EP which I rightfully titled "R.U.S.H. (Rapping Until Something Happens" so I'll be sure to post updates about that as well. Also, I will be teaming up Babylon Cartel for a major project (besides my EP) ... I don't think you guys are ready lol ... just wait and see.

That's pretty much it for now. Please, still visit the blog and direct your friends/colleagues/parents/boyfriends lol whoever to my website and put them on to good music.

Final Cut Pro frustrates me.. grrrr!!

Yea so I finally got a hold of Final Cut Pro 7 and it's giving me such a headache. Well, maybe because I was trying to figure things out off of 3 hours of sleep and my body was like "b**** you tryin it", lol. I'm usually good at figuring things out on my own just by experimenting with stuff and that trial and error hoopla. So, I think by the end of this week I'll have a successful music video. I'm trying to do one for one of my songs from my latest project "The Black Madonna Soundtrack" (not gonna tell you which one!) so we'll see how that turns out. Oh, and if any of you know a good tutorial site/video for using Final Cut Pro 7 PLEASE let me know, thanx :) Hopefully, the next time I blog about that software I'll have a finished video to go with it...

Kanye West - MBDTF

Finally heard Kanye West's new album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and despite the songs that were included from G.O.O.D. Fridays... I LOVE IT!! I think this album and Late Registration would have to be my favorite two albums from Ye. Everything from vocal arrangements to melodies and lyrics on MBDTF made this one of the best albums (for me) this year. I don't know if I've said before but Mr. West never ceases to amaze me. The man is a genius. He's a little crazy, like all geniuses are, but I'm still a fan of his artwork. I give this album 4.5 stars.

So, I'm in class browsing the Amajanese Blog and I see a new video from Amanda Diva. She looked so pretty! Didn't listen to the song because... I'm in class lol. It will be a month this Wednesday (11/17) since I did the BC and my hair has grown sooo much! ahhh! i love it :D

Okay, so I must admit I can be a "camera whore" sometimes... but I mean, when you have a bomb ass camera like a Canon how could you not be one!? I don't know, even when I didn't have a Canon I was always snapping some pics here and there.

Does that make me conceited??

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to not judge me lol, it is to look at the photos I took recently. I haven't really had time to do a full blown photo or video shoot. Oh, but when I do it's a wrap! (And you can run and tell that homeboy!!) Check out these flicks I took recently.

This one I took and edited this week because my website needed an update. I LOVE pastels so I used a lot of lighter tints in this one.


I was listening to Lupe Fiasco's new song "S.L.R. (Super Lupe Rap)" and I thought of his other song "Beaming" and wanted to do some sort of laser type thing. So, this was the final product :)


This one is probably my favorite. It kinda describes me in a way. I'm not really a girly girl or ultra-feminine but I do love to show off my sexiness, hence the exposed thighs, lol. I also love the way guys dress with their 'fitteds' and mix-match attire. Well, the ones who pull off the look right, anyway. I got that jacket from my mom's closet. She never wore it and probably had it for about three years. Snatched that baby up!


I didn't do too much editing with this one, just a quick crop. I like this one in particular because of the dragged lighting? I don't really know how to describe it but you get the idea. I used the AV mode on my camera to pull this one off.

I'm gonna be working more on videos. I eventually want to become a video producer & director so I gotta practice!

So, I recently made a big ticket purchase although I probably could have waited until Black Friday to get a better price...
Anyway I was in the market for a Canon EOS 7D, but when I went to go purchase it from Richmond Camera they said it was selling for $2000. NOT IN MY BUDGET! I had planned on spending no more than mmmm $700 but I wanted an ill ass camera so I had to give in. I ended up getting a great deal! I got the Canon EOS Rebel T2i Full HD camera instead. I got it specifically for shooting videos but the photos look amazing too. ANNNNDDD, they had a sale going until Nov 20, 2010 that let you get the kit and another lens for just $949! (A 18mm-55mm came with the camera and I chose a 75mm-300mm as my second lens). The final price was $1049 (I got a $39 tripod too).

It does seem like a lot still but it's worth my pretty little penny, not to mention it's a great investment in both my careers!
