Editorial Sample Work

I recently applied for an intern position as a Street Contributor for a popular online magazine/blog. I had never done anything of the sort before besides class projects at VCU but here's my stab at it:



They say a picture is worth a thousand words but Gy Su Kim's get up is worth a thousand looks. A black and white maxi dress that gives a look of white noise is bound to spark interest and raise eyebrows. The very feminine black textured knee length coat paired with a tan shoulder purse and ankle tie-up boots let's those walking by know Kim is a stylish and sophisticated force to be reckoned with. Not to mention the fact that she's wearing you're-not-worthy-enough-to-see-my-eyes shades and what appears to be a dangling decked out octopus necklace. How mysterious!



Brandon Williams makes a statement with his fuchsia suede boots, black faux fur hooded coat, and distinguishing brown fedora. The subtle feel of posh meshed with fierce is a continuous flow throughout this outfit. With a slightly undone forest green button up shirt paired with black skinny jeans, and pair of aviator shades, William isn't afraid to bring his swagger to the streets.



Some would say that Dylan Sada is mixing seasons with her covered up top and nearly bare bottom, but with style and attitude along with the perfect amount of accent pieces she pulls this look off effortlessly. Her cream quarter length sleeve blazer and distressed turquoise wedges add a clean contrast to her majority black attire. With knee-high tights, cable knit scarf, and vintage shoulder bag, Sada is a walking billboard for this season's hottest trends.
